More Sleep Is Better than Less Sleep

Today’s Wall Street Journal features a great article on chronobiology. It highlights the importance of matching our daily lives to the schedule that Mother Nature intended for us. The discussion of “clock genes” throughout the body, and of the brain’s role in orchestrating those clocks is fascinating, and highlights the importance of adhering to our innate circadian rhythms. Or, as Benjamin Franklin said: “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise”.
